A handmade ceramic pot by Lisa Simon. A broad scalloped rim brings movement to the rounded form. Dark glaze trails and turquoise-blue drops run over warm terracotta tones and a speckled surface, while pale rectangular feet lift the pot from its display surface.
The clay interior has a central drainage hole and four smaller wiring holes for a bonsai or kusamono planting. Lisa’s signature, a small maker drawing and a date stamp appear underneath.
Photographed from two sides, above and underneath to show the individual form, glaze and maker marks.
